Quinoa Flour Brownies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 oz. (4 squares) unsweetened chocolate, chopped
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup demerara (raw) sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup quinoa flour
- Nuts for topping, if desired (I used slivered almonds)
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 deg F.
- Line up an 8 by 8 inch pan with buttered aluminium foil(the foil should hang over the edege of the pan atleast 2 inches on each side).
- In a mediun sausepan, melt butter and chocolate over medium heat, stirring until the chocolate is melted fully.
- Set it aside to cool off.
- Beat the eggs and sugar in a large bowl until thick and then continue beating by adding in the chocolate mixture, vanilla and salt.
- Add flour slowly and beat on low speed until the batter is blended.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 mins.
- Remove the brownies by lifting up the aluminium foil.
- Let cool in the foil for 10-15 mins before cutting.
