Quinoa Flour Brownies

Quinoa Flour Brownies // The Haas Machine


  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 oz. (4 squares) unsweetened chocolate, chopped
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup demerara (raw) sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup quinoa flour
  • Nuts for topping, if desired (I used slivered almonds)
Cooking Instructions
  • Preheat the oven to 350 deg F.
  • Line up an 8 by 8 inch pan with buttered aluminium foil(the foil should hang over the edege of the pan atleast 2 inches on each side).
  • In a mediun sausepan, melt butter and chocolate over medium heat, stirring until the chocolate is melted fully.
  • Set it aside to cool off.
  • Beat the eggs and sugar in a large bowl until thick and then continue beating by adding in the chocolate mixture, vanilla and salt.
  • Add flour slowly and beat on low speed until the batter is blended.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 mins. 
  • Remove the brownies by lifting up the aluminium foil.
  • Let cool in the foil for 10-15 mins before cutting.
